Why you have had trouble finding someone

If you have called four practices and been told no, that is the network working as designed rather than something going wrong.

Curated networks are assembled by selecting providers, generally on cost and quality measures, rather than contracting broadly. The resulting list is short. For the employer that produces predictable spending. For the member it produces a frustrating afternoon on the phone.

What to do with that

Confirm before you drive. Directories for curated networks go stale quickly, in both directions. Call and let us run eligibility.

Establish care while you have the plan. If you find a practice in network, getting established is worth doing rather than waiting until you are sick. Finding a provider under time pressure in a narrow network is the worst version of this.

Ask about referrals when you need a specialist. The same curation applies downstream, and where we can refer you inside your network is a question worth asking at the visit rather than afterward.

Annual physicals, preventive screening, chronic conditions including blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and thyroid, sick visits, weight management, women’s health, men’s health and telehealth.

Patients age 16 and older. No pediatric, prenatal or emergency care.

Costs
