Getting here

From Southlake Town Square. West on SH 114, or take Kirkwood Blvd directly. The building is on the north side of Kirkwood.

From south Southlake and Timarron. White Chapel Blvd or Carroll Ave north to SH 114, then west to Kirkwood Blvd.

From FM 1709, Southlake Blvd. North on Carroll Ave or White Chapel Blvd, then toward the 114 corridor and Kirkwood.

From DFW Airport. SH 114 west, roughly fifteen minutes depending on traffic.

Free surface parking directly in front. A short flat walk to the entrance, no stairs and no garage to circle. If you have trouble walking, park in the spaces closest to the door and someone can help you in.

Why Southlake specifically

This is a city full of people who technically have a doctor and have not seen one in three years. Usually the reason is the same: getting an appointment means calling a large system and waiting five weeks, and by then whatever prompted the call has either resolved or been forgotten.

We are small on purpose. Being seen quickly is realistic rather than theoretical, the person who answers the phone works in this building, and your care stays with a small physician-led team rather than whoever happens to be available. Dr. Farhan Abdullah, DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, and Rachael Bowen, NP see patients here, and you can keep seeing the same one.

That continuity is not a nicety. The provider who saw your blood pressure at 138 in the spring is the one who notices it is 152 in the fall and remembers what changed in between.

For the 114 corridor

A significant share of the working population here spends the day in the office parks along 114 rather than at home. That shapes how we schedule.

Midday and late afternoon appointments exist so a visit does not cost you half a day, and telehealth covers the follow-ups that genuinely do not need an exam, such as reviewing labs or checking in after a medication change. What telehealth does not cover is anything needing a stethoscope, and we will tell you which one you need rather than booking the convenient option and hoping.

Carroll ISD athletes

We do sports physicals for students age 16 and older, which covers most of the high school. Bring the complete UIL packet with the history section filled out at home with a parent, because the family cardiac history is the part that actually catches things and no 16 year old can answer it accurately in a waiting room.

Book early in the summer. Every practice in this area fills up in the weeks before fall sports, and if the exam turns up something needing an echocardiogram you want weeks of runway rather than days. There is more in sports physicals for high school athletes.

What we do and do not do

We see patients age 16 and older: annual physicals, chronic conditions including diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol, sick visits, women’s health, men’s health and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits.

We do not provide pediatric care, prenatal care or emergency care. For an emergency, call 911. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southlake is the closest hospital.

Insurance

We are in network with most major plans. Check the list before your visit, and see what to bring as a new patient.

Questions from Southlake patients

Where exactly on Kirkwood Blvd are you?

On Kirkwood Blvd just north of the SH 114 corridor, near the Sabre campus. Coming from Town Square, take Kirkwood Blvd west and we are on your right. We are in Suite 110C.

Is there parking?

Free surface parking directly in front of the building. No garage, no gate, no fee, and a short flat walk with no stairs.

Are you affiliated with Magnolia Functional Wellness?

We share the Magnolia name and Dr. Farhan Abdullah, DO serves as Medical Director for both. Magnolia Primary Care is a separate primary care practice with its own suite, its own phone number and its own scheduling.

Do you handle Carroll ISD sports physicals?

Yes, for students age 16 and older, which covers most of the high school. Bring the complete UIL packet with the history section already filled out. We do not see anyone younger than 16.

Can I come during a lunch break from the 114 corridor offices?

That is a good chunk of what our midday slots are for. From the office parks along 114 you are usually under ten minutes each way, and parking out front means you are not hunting a garage.
